The main wall separating the dining room and great room was removed to open up the main floor of the home. A larger fireplace was installed, complete with stone masonry and custom moulding to cap the 8’ mantle. The original sunken family room floor was raised so there is one continuous level throughout main floor. The new open concept floor plan now allows anyone in the kitchen to participate with guests/family in great room and dining room.
